Nathan Main is a wargame designer and strategist focused on turning political tension, institutional behavior, and real-world crises into immersive simulations. As the founder of Vytric, he leads the creation of branching, consequence-driven games that explore how power is navigated—by states, leaders, and everyday players faced with pressure.

Nathan has developed multiple flagship scenarios, including Storm on the Nile, a simulation of the political and military collapse in Sudan, and Shadows of Resistance, a game modeling the asymmetric strategies of Hezbollah in its conflict with state actors. Both reflect Vytric's commitment to building games that go beyond entertainment—layering in ideology, systems thinking, and moral complexity.

Before Vytric, Nathan spent nearly a decade designing and implementing enterprise software systems—especially Microsoft Dynamics 365—across sectors from manufacturing to healthcare. That systems architecture background now informs how Vytric models variables, maps decisions, and builds scalable scenario logic.

Currently finishing a Master's in Conflict Resolution in Divided Societies at King's College London, Nathan's academic work focuses on wargaming, hybrid warfare, and the strategic dynamics of fractured states. He also holds an MSc in Research for International Development from SOAS University of London, giving him a deep foundation in political systems, post-conflict reconstruction, and scenario modeling.
